Kieran is a self taught artist who also has attended courses at the National College of Art and Design and the Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art Design and Technology between 2000 and 2007. Working in Pastels, Acrylics, Oils and mixed media.

In Kierans work the images are non figurative/abstract. They are a glimpse into his journey to interpret the impact of the natural world on him. Each piece recalls a particular moment in time; as such they form some of the pages of his diary from the last few years. On an emotional level the abstract nature of each piece invites the viewer to bring their own personal experiences to bear, which in turn will help the viewer to become part of the narrative.
