Graduating from Crawford College of Art & Design in 1995, Healy held a two- person show in Cork where his large scale canvases attracted considerable interest. In 1997 he represented Ireland in ‘ Dzukija 97’, an International Painting Symposium in Lithuania. Since then he has exhibited widely and has works represented in numerous shows throughout Iceland, Amsterdam, Copenhagen and London. In 2002 he organized and participated in ‘ Vision Ireland’, an International Artists Plenary at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Annaghmakerrig, Monaghan. More recently his work has been exhibited along side the likes of Barrie Cooke and Robert Ballagh
