This is a new page just to show some recent photos from the flats MAY 2005. as these flats are due for demolition the council is not doing any repairs. some flats are occupied still and the people are awaiting rehousing. some of these flats have artists studios and some are the gallery/projects flats.the fungus in the last photo is from one of the studios. unusable now though after winter 2005. the roof is leaking some unidentifiable brown muck (tar?) and the damp is too bad.
most of the studios though are fine and the gallery is the best one in ireland (See gallery exhibitions click here).(next)
